@linuxpaulm It's nice when they pack it in a format that's almost distro-agnostic. I would ask for more developers to do this. The keyword is "ask". When users start demanding that they're packed in a certain format, then the user moves into the "entitled" territory.
So long as we politely ask the developers to use these package formats, we're good. 😉
